How should the products be stored?
Unopened products should be stored in a cabinet or the refrigerator. Opened products should always be kept in a sealed container in the refrigerator to ensure maximum freshness. Juicy Juice products should not be frozen, as freezing can compromise the overall quality of the products. Keep refrigerated after opening, and for maximum quality, use within 10 days.
Can the products be used after the Best If Used By Date?
Products within shelf life have the best quality and freshness. We would not recommend using products beyond the Best If Used By Date on the container since they would not be of the highest quality. The Best If Used By Date can be found in these places:
- Plastic Bottles: Top of the bottle cap
- Juice Boxes: Top of the box
Are Juicy Juice 100% juice products blends of different fruit?
Yes. While all Juicy Juice 100% juice products contain 100% Juice, many of our varieties are blends of various fruit juices. We blend with a purpose in mind – to deliver a wide variety of great-tasting fruit flavors that specifically appeal to kids’ palates.
Why are fruit concentrates used to produce Juicy Juice products/juices?
Harvest Hill Beverage Company uses concentrates because they provide for a higher quality juice product.
Do Juicy Juice products contain added sugars?
No. Juicy Juice products do not contain any added sugars. They contain only natural sugars (fructose) in the fruit juice concentrates used.
Are Juicy Juice products pasteurized?
Yes. All juices and nectars are pasteurized through a heating process that destroys any microorganisms.
Are Juicy Juice products Kosher?
No. Juicy Juice products are not Kosher.
Do Juicy Juice products contain gluten?
No. Gluten is found in products that contain wheat, barley, rye and oats. Juicy Juice products do not contain any of these things.
Do Juicy Juice products contain dyes?
No. Juicy Juice products do not contain synthetic dyes. The color of Juicy Juice juices comes from natural sources.
Do Juicy Juice products contain any of the top eight allergens (dairy, soy, nuts, peanuts, eggs, wheat, fish and shellfish)?
No. Juicy Juice products do not contain any of these top eight allergens.
At what age can I begin serving Juicy Juice products to my child?
The best time for your child to start drinking fruit juice is when he or she is ready to start drinking from a cup. This typically happens around 6 to 8 months of age.
TO INTRODUCE THAT FIRST SIP OF JUICE TO YOUR BABY:
Start with a diluted, gentle, non-acidic juice like apple. Measure 2 to 4 ounces of juice into a sippy cup. Limit the total amount of juice to no more than 4 ounces per day. Dilute the juice using the 1.1 ratio; one part water and one part juice. Remember, your baby’s primary source of nutrition is still breast milk or formula. Wait at least one week before offering a different fruit juice to make sure your baby doesn’t have any allergic reactions. Avoid feeding them juice like orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, and tomato juices before 6 months of age, as those juices are more likely to cause an allergic reaction.
