A great way to bring the neighborhood together on the season’s most frightening night is to throw a simple pre- trick-or-treating potluck and play! Before the youngins make the rounds door to door and the candy bowls are all empty, gather a batch of friends and neighbors together for some multi-family fun. Whip up some chili or soup as the main dish and have everyone contribute something, so it’s easy for all. Show a not-so-scary Halloween film and let the kids enjoy a few games like “pin the fangs on the vampire bat” or some old school Ghost in the Graveyard before you head out.
After all, Halloween is the perfect night
to get to know some of your BOO-ti-ful neighbors.
