While snowball fights are a rite of passage on any give snow day, sometimes the snow doesn’t always fall when we want it to. So, we’ve got a craft to occupy the little ones until the snow gets here. It’s soft, safe and fun for the whole family! Check out the steps below to have your own snowless snowball fight.
- Step 1: Gather your materials. You will need:
- A spool of white yarn
- White poly golf balls
- A plastic safety needle
- Step 2: Thread the yarn through the plastic safety needle. Begin to weave the yarn in and out of the holes in the golf balls.
- Step 3: Continue this process until the golf ball is completely covered. Repeat for as many snowballs as you’d like. We recommend making at least five so that the whole family can play.
- Step 4: Gather your finished snowballs and let the tossing and ducking begin!
